1967 Volkswagen Beetle Print this page.
1967 Volkswagen Beetle. Tired of searching for a car that won't require you to buy a set of tools to make it the car you thought it would be. The previous owner of this VW enjoyed doing preventive maintenance and had the ability to do it properly. Listed are some of the items that have been replaced recently. An electronic ignition system was added eliminating the need to change points and condenser periodically. The entire brake system was gone through including replacing the shoes, wheel cylinders, hi-pressure hoses and lines. New radial tires, less than three hundred miles ago, new starter motor, complete tune-up including valve adjustment and carburetor set-up. Add shock absorbers and axle boots to the list and we think you will agree with us that upkeep was a high prioriy. No rust, no crust to worry about either. Heater channels, floor pans and battery tray are all excellent. Lights, wipers and signals all work as well. Yep, the horn goes beep when the button is pushed. The dash remains uncut with a period correct radio. Please note the radio is not in working order though. All in all, this VW is in remarkable condition. It is, however, forty six years old, and as with any vintage automobile minor wear can be found.
